Alex 'Bruce Leroy' Caceres Gets Another Shot

But when he stepped into the cage with WEC veteran Mackens Semerzier it all went wrong and it happened fast. Before much action could take place, Caceres was stuck in a rear naked choke courtesy of Semerzier, and was forced to tap out.

It wasn’t the debut that Caceres had hoped for, but like any fighter who loses, they have to dust themselves off and get back on the proverbial horse.

Cacares’ manager, Malki Kawa of Authentic Sports Management, says he spoke very candidly with the young fighter following his fight in Seattle, and believes that he will return better, stronger and more prepared the next time he steps foot in the Octagon.

“I spoke to Alex, I had a real good conversation with him the Monday after the fight. Basically, was just real honest with him, I said ‘you were on top of the world and I think you were just happy to be there,” Kawa told MMAWeekly Radio.

“He’s just more upset with the overall performance than the fact that he lost.”
