UFC Rio: First Finalized Bout

The first finalized bout for UFC Rio is going to be Anderson Silva's next title defense. Silva is set to put his title on the line in his home country against the next middleweight contender, Yushin Okami.

'Thunder' is riding a winning streak that brought him to the title shot, taking out the likes of Lucio Lanhares, Mark Munoz, and most recently a impressive performance over Nate Marquardt. Okami's record is sitting at 26-5 professionally and would love nothing more than to dethrone arguably the greatest fighter ever.

Silva though, will be a difficult task to take out. His record and pedigree recently has proved that he is currently on another level in comparison to his peers in the middleweight division. Silva has also proven that he deserves to be the greatest because of his jump in weight classes to the light heavyweight division and his lack of losses there.

Anderson is undefeated in the UFC and has not lost since his attainment of the belt. He is going for his 9th consecutive title defense as well as 14th consecutive win inside the Octagon.
