Tito Ortiz In Car Accident, Unhurt And Still Ready For Evans Fight

Tito Ortiz was involved in a three-car accident that left his Rolles Royce Phantom with some minor body damage. Ortiz was not shaken by the accident and appears unhurt and ready for his fight with Rashad Evans in less than two weeks at UFC 133.

UFC 133 had its main event altered when NCAA Division I wrestler Phil Davis pulled out due to injury. With only three weeks to the date, and the stress of another scrapped main event like UFC 132, Dana went to work quickly in finding a suitable replacement. After an offer was passed up by Lyoto Machida, Tito fell into right into place. Taking the fight just one week after his bout against Ryan Bader at UFC 132, which resulted a win for the 'Hunting Beach Bad Boy', many feel he has a shot at beating Evans.

Bystanders gave no leading information about injuries, but everyone appeared well and good health at the time of the traffic collision.

Tito had tweeted that he did not have adequate insurance and will be paying for the damages out of his own pocket. Ouch. While this may make some mad or upset, he seemed content stating, “I cried a little because its my favorite car but it will be new n no time.”
