UFC 135 Card Continues to Impress

The UFC 135 card continues to impress with signed matches that look to impress viewers.
A heavyweight matchup between Travis Browne and Rob Broughton has been added to the “UFC 135: Jones vs. Rampage” fight card on September 24 in Denver, Colorado, the UFC announced Wednesday.

Browne (11-0-1) scored the “Knockout of the Night” on Stefan Struve last month at UFC 130 to improve to 2-0-1 in the UFC, while Broughton (15-5-1) submitted Vinicius Queiroz in his Octagon debut this past October.

As expected UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones (13-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) will attempt to make his first title defense when he meets Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (32-8 MMA, 7-2 UFC) at UFC 135.

MMAjunkie.com first reported the expected booking earlier this month and said Jones simply needed a doctor to clear his injured hand.

With that clearance received, UFC officials today announced that verbal agreements are in place for the September fight.
